Our hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of the city and on Avenyn. Buzzing city vibes close to the City Theatre and Concert Hall, and just a short walk from Liseberg amusement park. Shopping, restaurants and museums are all on our doorstep.
Scandic Rubinen is a hotel where design and details are in focus and holds the best location on the Avenyn. Stay right in the center of the action. Our 292 hotel rooms range from smaller cozy rooms to suites with magnificent views of Gothenburg. Stay fit in our well-equipped gym or relax in the sauna. Perfect location for your sightseeing tour. Restaurant Ruby is a meeting point for both locals and hotel guests with its bistro atmosphere, greenery, industrial details and timeless materials. The kitchen offer a menu with a Nordic touch. Between April and October our open air restaurant is open facing Avenyn. During the summer, you can enjoy refreshing drinks and a stunning view over the rooftops from our Rooftop bar on the 7th floor. We have a floor with its own terrace dedicated entirely to events for meetings and events with up to 180 people. Up here you have your own private boule court. Our relaxation suite has a sauna where you can unwind, or if you prefer, you can work out in our gym.
Scandic Rubinen is located right on Gothenburg's fashionable street Avenyn, next to the Poseidon bronze sculpture, Gothenburg Museum of Art, City Theatre and Concert Hall. Shopping, restaurants and bars are all just outside our hotel. It's just a short walk to Korsvagen from our hotel, which is close to the Universeum children's science centre, Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Liseberg amusement park.
